NASDAQ Futures are down 1 with +3 Fair Value, Dow Futures are down 4 as the Fed meeting begins, although a decision isn't expected until Thursday. China broke its 2-day losing streak and gained 4.9% in the "final hour", hint: intervention. Oil gains for 2nd day. The Consumer Price Index reported a decrease of 0.1%.
AAPL had another good day yesterday, aside from a "scary" early morning spike down to 114.42 on moderate volume. It reversed almost immediately and AAPL worked its way back up over 116 within an hour on good volume, reaching a peak of 116.53 at 3:27pm on moderate volume. AAPL ended the intra-day session at 116.28 and ended up another dime in after-hours at 116.38 after low volume trading in a tight range.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened at 4am right where it closed in after-hours and then reached a high of 116.5 at 8:04am on relatively high volume. Since, AAPL has sold off slightly on very low volume, reaching a low of 116.1. AAPL is currently up 1 cent at 116.29.
Classic max-pain is 115.
