Apple Today 09/15/2015 (AAPL)

NASDAQ Futures are up 11 with +16 Fair Value, Dow Futures are up 42, reversing redness as we roll closer to the Fed meeting later this week. China had another rough day, losing 3.5%. The Fed decision will be announced on Thursday. NY-area manufacturing contracted for the 2nd month, due to declining orders and unemployment.
AAPL opened up significantly yesterday on iPhone pre-order numbers "optimism" but failed to capture the 117 that seemed so effortless in pre-market. The intra-day peak was 116.89, occurring at the open on high volume. Through the day, AAPL gave up 2 points in the familiar sawtooth bot pattern "selling" reaching as low as 114.86 before bouncing up to the mid-115 area. AAPL remained positive for the day with healthy gains and closed the intra-day out at 115.31. After-hours was uneventful with AAPL in a narrow range at relatively low volume.
AAPL is up in pre-market again this morning on various "analyst" upgrades and other positive news trickling in from last week's event, though the pop is much more muted than yesterday. Staying generally in the upper 115-zone on relatively low volume, AAPL has seen a few large trades since 8am on higher volume and is currently up 38 cents at 115.69.
Classic max-pain is now 116, up a point from yesterday.
