Apple Today - 08/31/2015 EOM (AAPL)

NASDAQ Futures are down 30 with -24 Fair Value, Dow Futures are down 155. Futures are lower this morning at the start of a new week after one of the most volatile weeks in years. China closed down again today. Oil is down 2-3%. JC Penney (JCP) is up over 2% in pre-market. There's building uncertainty around the Fed raising the interest rate.
Last week was "one for the books". AAPL started out of the gate with a "crash", seeing prices as low as 92 before quickly recovering 100 and subsequently clawing back over 110 by mid-week on relatively high volume, often seeing swings of 5 points or more within an hour. Apple confirmed the September 9th event on Thursday with an invitation teasing, "Hey Siri, give us a hint.", which I have written before is likely to be referring to voice control for the new Apple TV, utilizing Siri. Despite the prior volatility and turbulence, AAPL became relatively stable on Friday and closed out the week at 113.29, over 20 points above the low on Monday. After-hours on Friday was also remarkably stable with AAPL gaining a few cents to 113.37, beating the intra-day high.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up lower at 4:02am at 112.5 on relatively high volume, then dipped to 111.9 on low volume at 4:56am before bouncing up to 112.6 at 6:32am on moderately high volume. AAPL then dropped to 112.25 on moderate volume before reaching a peak of 112.69 around 8am on relatively high volume. Since then, AAPL has dipped under mid-122 and AAPL is currently down 1.25 at 112.04.
Classic max-pain is 112. This is the last trading day of August.
