Apple Today - 08/06/2015 (AAPL)
seymour_greenz August 6th 2015 09:26:40 AMGood Morning,
NASDAQ Futures are up 4 with +1 Fair Value, Dow Futures are up 19. Futures have been relatively flat with a slight rise as the morning progresses. TSLA reported last night and is down 7% on a downward revision of full year deliveries. FIT also reported yesterday and is down 11% on gross margin concerns. Quarterly earnings from Keurig (GMCR) dropped the stock nearly 30%. Jobless claims were reported to increase slightly.
Yesterday AAPL opened and hit a stunning low of 112.41 minutes later, then switched to a rally, seemingly letting the dam waters being held back loose again, and subsequently steadily recovered back up to 117.36 by 11:24am. By 1:54pm in the afternoon, AAPL dipped back down to 114.77, made another attempt at 116 and then settled in the mid-115s. AAPL closed the intra-day at 115.4.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened a bit higher at 115.55 on light volume and has patiently followed the Futures on the way up slightly higher in a very narrow range on very high volume, with a peak so far at 115.89 at 8:36am on nearly 62k shares. AAPL is currently up 60 cents to 116.
Classic max-pain reads 119 again. Today is ex-div day.
