Apple Today 4/11/2017 (AAPL)

S&P Futures are down 3 with -4 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are down 6 with -6 Fair Value and Dow Futures are down 15 on this Tuesday heading into earnings season. United Continental (UAL), the owner of United Airlines, were down more than 5% in pre-market after a video that showed a passenger being forcibly removed from an overbooked flight went viral. Speaking in Michigan late on Monday, US Federal Reserve chair Janet Yellen says the US economy is now "healthy" and the Fed will be focusing on maintaining healthy growth over the next few years. Techwise, Qualcomm strikes back against Apple's lawsuit with counterclaims as Bitcoin draws near 1,220 again this morning.
This morning's Economic Calendar includes: NFIB Small Business Optimism Index, Redbook and 4-Week Bill Auction followed by 10-Yr Note Auction and Neel Kashkari Speaks this afternoon.
Futures were down in early morning, then recovered positive territory shortly before 6:30am only to slip back shortly afterwards and are off the lows as we approach the open.
Asian markets ended mixed. China gained 0.60%, Hong Kong dropped 0.72% and Japan went down 0.27%. European markets are mixed. The UK is up 0.62%, Germany is down 0.11% and France is up 0.06%.
Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is down 0.11%, natural gas is up 0.09% and gold is up 0.64%. Unleaded gas is down 0.23% and heating oil is down 0.03%. Metals are up. Meats are up. Cocoa and soybeans are up while coffee, cotton, corn and wheat are down.
US job openings rise to 7-month high in February.
Bank of the Ozarks (OZRK) reported Q1 results with earnings of 73 cents per share that beat expectations and is up slightly in pre-market.
Tomorrow morning before the open, Fastenal Company (FAST) and Delta Air Lines, Inc. (DAL) are expected to report.

AAPL spilled below 143 yesterday, ending down 0.14% on low volume. AAPL opened up at 143.60 to high volume and quickly set an intra-day high of 143.88 at 9:31am before slipping to the low-143 area lunchtime on moderate volume and bouncing back to the upper-143 area in early afternoon on moderate volume. After 1:40pm, AAPL slipped sharply to a sub-143 intra-day low of 142.90 at 3:58pm on strong volume and bounced back slightly above 143 into the close. AAPL ended the day down 20 cents at 143.14 and gained a penny in after-hours to 143.15.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened higher in conjunction with Futures and slipped to a pre-market low of 142.68 at 5:50am while buzz of Qualcomm striking back against Apple with counterclaims made the rounds. AAPL is currently down 12 cents at 143.05 as we approach the open.
