Apple Today 3/17/2017 OPEX (AAPL)

S&P Futures are up 1 with +2 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are up 7 with +6 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 27 as this week draws to a monthly OPEX.
This morning's Economic Calendar includes: Industrial Production, Atlanta Fed's Business Inflation Expectations, Consumer Sentiment and Leading Indicators followed by Baker-Hughes Rig Count this afternoon.
The earnings winners are: Adobe Systems Incorporated (ADBE), up over 5% and Tiffany & Co. (TIF), up nearly 3.5%. On the other hand, Vuzix Corp (VUZI) is down nearly 8.5%.
Futures were flat in early morning and dipped after 1:30am, foundering to lows shortly before 4:30am before bouncing back to even and are near the highs as we approach the open.
Asian markets ended mostly down. China dropped 0.96%, Hong Kong went up 0.09% and Japan went down 0.35%. European markets are up. The UK is up 0.26%, Germany is up 0.13% and France is leading the advance, up 0.34%.
Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 0.53%, natural gas is down 0.17% and gold is up 0.15%. Unleaded gas is up 0.58% and heating oil is up 0.45%. Metals are up. Meats are mostly up. Cotton and wheat are up while cocoa, coffee, corn and soybeans are down.
Manufacturing production in US rises for 6th straight month.
Adobe Systems Incorporated (ADBE) reported Q1 results yesterday afternoon that beat expectations and is up over 5% in pre-market. Tiffany & Co. (TIF) announced Q4 results that beat expectations on strong China sales and is up nearly 3.5%
Vuzix Corp (VUZI) reported Q4 results this morning that missed expectations and is down nearly 8.5%.
On Monday before the open, look out for earnings from Destination XL Group, Inc. (DXLG) and Movado Group, Inc. (MOV).

AAPL gently floated up to 141 yesterday, ending up 0.16% on low volume. AAPL opened up at 140.72 to high volume and moved up to an intra-day high of 141.02 at 9:50am on moderate volume before slipping to an intra-day low of 140.26 at 11:38am on low volume. AAPL bounced back sharply on low volume ahead of lunchtime and floated back into the upper-140 area on low volume before dipping back into the mid-140 zone at 2:45pm and below 140.5 shortly afterwards. AAPL then bounced back into the upper-140 area into the close on moderate volume and ended the day up 23 cents at 140.69 and dropped 8 cents in after-hours to 140.61.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened lower and scraped a pre-market low of 140.55 at 8:07am before bouncing back to a pre-market high 140.91 shortly afterwards at 8:57am on buzz that Apple is opening 2 more research and design centers in China. AAPL is currently up 3 cents at 140.72 as we approach the open.
