S&P Futures are down 1 with -3 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are up 2 with -5 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 15 on this 2nd day on March with the Dow above 21,000 for the first time as the Snap IPO is set to launch at $17 per share.
This morning's Economic Calendar includes: Chain Store Sales, Initial Jobless Claims, Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index and EIA Natural Gas Inventory followed by Fed Balance Sheet and Money Supply this afternoon.
The earnings winners are: Monster Beverage Corp. (MNST) is up over 13.5%, Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) is up nearly 7% and Broadcom Limited (AVGO) is up nearly 5%
On the other hand, Planet Fitness (PLNT) is down over 6%, Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV (BUD) is down nearly 3.5%, Barnes & Noble Inc (BKS) is down over 3%, Kroger Co. (KR) is down nearly 3% and Shake Shack (SHAK) is down over 2.5%.
Futures were down in early morning, briefly turned green after 1:30am and then dipped to lows by 6:30am but have since bounced sharply and are near the highs as we approach the open.
Asian markets ended mixed. China dropped 0.52%, Hong Kong went down 0.20% and Japan gained 0.88%. European markets are mostly up. The UK is down 0.05%, Germany is up 0.05% and France is up 0.10%.
Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is down 1.37%, natural gas is up 0.04% and gold is down 0.73%. Unleaded gas is down 2.29% and heating oil is down 1.56%. Metals are down. Meats are mixed. Cocoa is up while coffee, cotton, corn, wheat and soybeans are down.

Shake Shack (SHAK) reported Q4 results yesterday afternoon with adjusted earnings of 9 cents per share that met expectations and is down over 2.5% in pre-market. Box (BOX) announced Q4 results with an adjusted loss of 10 cents per share that beat expectations and is down nearly 1%. Monster Beverage Corp. (MNST) reported Q4 results that beat expectations and is up over 13.5%. Broadcom Limited (AVGO) announced Q1 results that beat expectations and is up nearly 5%. Planet Fitness (PLNT) reported Q4 results that beat expectations and is down over 6%.
Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV (BUD) reported Q4 results this morning with mixed results and is down nearly 3.5% in pre-market. Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) announced Q4 results with net income of 71 cents per share that missed expectations and is up nearly 7%. Barnes & Noble Inc (BKS) reported a profitable Q3 and is down over 3%. Burlington Stores, Inc (BURL) announced Q4 results with adjusted earnings of $1.78 per share and is up over 2%. Kroger Co. (KR) reported Q4 results with profit of 53 cents per share that met expectations and is down nearly 3%.
This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from Autodesk, Inc. (ADSK) and Costco Wholesale Corporation (COST).
Tomorrow morning before the open, Revlon, Inc. (REV) and Big Lots, Inc. (BIG) are expected to report.

AAPL took off like a rocket yesterday, arcing up 2.04% on strong volume. AAPL opened up at 137.90 to high volume and momentarily dipped to an intra-day low of 137.60 before launching up to 139 by 11am on moderate volume and then hitting 140 at lunchtime on moderate volume and holding the 140-line pretty well for most of the afternoon and setting an intra-day high of 140.15 at 2:58pm on mild volume before dipping below 140 into the close on higher volume. AAPL ended the day up 2.80 at 139.79 and gained 5 cents in after-hours to 137.05.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened higher and then scraped a pre-market low of 139.55 at 5:01am after a downgrade to Hold by Vetr Inc along with a 137.24 target. AAPL is currently up 7 cents at 139.86 as we approach the open.
