Good Morning,

Welcome back. S&P Futures are down 7 with -8 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are down 14 with -16 Fair Value and Dow Futures are down 49 as we kick off the first full week of February among the thick of earnings season. The New England Patriots came back from a 25-point deficit to win their 5th Super Bowl with a surprise 34-28 win against the Atlanta Falcons in the first overtime Super Bowl in history.

This morning's Economic Calendar includes: Gallup US Consumer Spending Measure and Labor market condition index followed by TD Ameritrade IMX this afternoon.

The earnings winners are Hasbro Inc (HAS), up over 10.5% and Loews Corp (L), up over 2%. On the other hand, Tyson Foods, Inc. (TSN) is down nearly 1.5%.

Futures were slightly up in early morning and peaked shortly before 5:15am and then dipped sharply into the red later in the morning and are at the lows as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended up. China gained 0.54%, Japan went up 0.31%, and Hong Kong led the advance, up 0.95%. European markets are down. The UK is down 0.20%, Germany is down 0.90% and France is leading the decline, down 0.91%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is down 0.35%, natural gas is down 0.98% and gold is up 0.81%. Unleaded gas is up 0.03% and heating oil is up 0.17%. Metals are up. Meats are mixed. Corn, wheat and soybeans are up while cocoa, coffee and cotton are down.

Treasuries, gold rise as US stocks slip with oil. Oil slips further below $57 as dollar strength counters OPEC. Draghi says QE strikes balance between growth and inflation.

Hasbro Inc (HAS) reported Q4 results this morning that beat expectations and is up over 10.5% in pre-market. Loews Corp (L) announced Q4 results with net income of 79 cents per share and is up over 2%. Tyson Foods, Inc. (TSN) is down nearly 1.5% after reporting a strong Q1 but receiving a SEC subpoena linked to alleged price-fixing.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from Delta Apparel, Inc (DLA), Twenty-First Century Fox, Inc. (FOXA), Catalent (CTLT), CBOE Holdings (CBOE) and Tesoro Corporation (TSO).

Tomorrow morning before the open, Centene Corporation (CNC), Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. (FIS), WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (WCG), CDW Corporation (CDW), Omnicom Group Inc. (OMC), Spirit Airlines (SAVE), Aramark Services, Inc. (ARMK), The Mosaic Company (MOS), General Motors Company (GM), Arrow Electronics Inc (ARW) and Michael Kors Holdings (KORS) are expected to report.

A leading bullish GM swing trade strategy is: When the 18 SMA is Above the 44 DEMA AND the 16 Day Stochastics is Bullish, daily bars.

AAPL had a superb week, ending up 5.85% on strong volume. On Monday, AAPL revved along the 121-line, ending down 0.26% on moderate volume. On Tuesday, the AAPL jet engine hit turbo in after-hours, ending down 0.23% intra-day but up over $3 in after-hours on Q1 results, conquering the 125-zone on strong volume. On Wednesday, AAPL zoomed through mid-120 waters in turbo mode after reporting Q1 results, peaking above 130 and ending up 6.10% on stunning volume. On Thursday, AAPL bounced on the 128 water line and ended down 0.17% on higher than average volume. On Friday, AAPL orbited 129 and landed OPEX up 0.43% on low volume. AAPL opened at 128.31 to high volume and dipped to an intra-day low of 128.16 at 9:44am on moderate volume before bouncing back sharply above 129 on moderate volume and going on to set an intra-day high of 129.19 at 10:26am on moderate volume. AAPL subsequently sold off and tested the mid-128 area ahead of lunchtime on low volume and held the mid-128 area in the afternoon until 2pm when AAPL moved up towards 129 on low volume and surged ahead into the close. AAPL ended the day up 55 cents at 129.08 and gained an additional 11 cents in after-hours to 129.19.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL picked up with Friday's close, peaked at 129.22 and then dipped to the upper-128 area despite an AAPL Outperform rating reiterated by RBC Capital Markets. AAPL is currently down 29 cents at 128.79 as we approach the open.
