S&P Futures are down 15 with -11 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are down 22 with -15 Fair Value and Dow Futures are down 110 on this last Monday of January as an executive travel ban on 7 Muslim-majority nations creates turmoil and protests. It's no surprise that travel stocks have been hit hard among the confusion.
This morning's economic calendar includes: Personal Income and Outlays, Pending Home Sales and Dallas Fed Manufacturing Survey.
Futures were down harshly in early morning and attempted a recovery shortly before 3:15am, only to slip sharply after 7:30am and are near the lows as we approach the open.
Asian markets ended down. China and Hong Kong were closed for Chinese New Year, and Japan dropped 0.51%. European markets are down. The UK is down 0.83%, Germany is down 0.78% and France is leading the decline, down 0.89%.
Commodities are mostly down this morning. Oil is down 0.11%, natural gas is down 2.86% and gold is up 0.27%. Unleaded gas is down 0.42% and heating oil is down 0.01%. Metals are mixed, gold and silver are up while copper and platinum are down. Meats are mostly up. Cocoa, coffee, cotton, corn, wheat and soybeans are all down.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from Rambus, Inc. (RMBS) and Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDTI).
Tomorrow morning before the open, Harley-Davidson, Inc. (HOG), Under Armour, Inc. Class C (UA), Xerox Corporation (XRX), Coach, Inc. (COH), 1-800 FLOWERS.COM, Inc. (FLWS), Nasdaq Inc. (NDAQ), Nomura Holdings, Inc. (NMR), Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (TMO), Aetna, Inc. (AET), MasterCard Incorporated (MA), United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS), Exxon Mobil Corporation (XOM), Pfizer Inc. (PFE), Sprint Corporation (S) and Valero Energy Corporation (VLO) are expected to report.

AAPL had a strong week, ending up 1.43% on low volume. On Monday, AAPL heartbeat pulsed at 120, ending up 0.07% on very low volume. On Tuesday, AAPL bobbed and lured on the 120 water line in a tight range, ending down 0.09% on low volume. On Wednesday, AAPL floated up to 122, ending up 1.59% on average volume. On Thursday, AAPL ticked along the 122-line, squeaking up 0.05% on relatively low volume. On Friday, AAPL hit the OPEX target with a gain of 0.01% on low volume. AAPL opened up at 122.14 to high volume and popped to122.35 at 9:32am on high volume before slipping back towards 122 and then bouncing back up near the intra-day highs again near 10 am on moderate volume before heading to 122 again by 11am on low volume. AAPL traded in a narrow range through lunch until 1:30pm and then slipped to the upper-121 zone on low volume and set an intra-day low of 121.60 at 2:16pm on mild volume before darting towards 122 into the close on moderate volume. AAPL ended the day up a penny at 121.95 and dropped 40 cents in after-hours to 121.55.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened lower with Futures and scraped a pre-market low of 120.88 at 4:49am before bouncing back later in the morning. AAPL is currently down 87 cents at 121.08 as we approach the open.
