Apple Today - 6/29/2016 (AAPL)

NASDAQ Futures are up 27 with +28 Fair Value, S&P Futures are up 12 with +13 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 98 as we hit mid-week and near the close of June. Futures were up earlier and continued marching up all morning, reaching a peak just after 6am before settling slightly and are near the highs as we await the open.
Asian markets ended up. China gained 0.65%, Hong Kong went up 1.31% and Japan led the advance, up 1.59%. European markets are in rally mode again. The UK is up 2.11%, Germany is up 1.51% and France is leading the rally, up 2.30%.
Commodities are mostly up this morning. Oil is up 0.67%, natural gas is up 2.04% and gold is up 0.21%. Unleaded gas is down 0.20% and heating oil is up 0.76%. Metals are up except copper. Meat is up. Cocoa, coffee, cotton and wheat are up while corn and soybeans are down.
Global stocks gain as Brexit nerves settle. US consumer spending rose 0.4% in May. 41 die in Istanbul terror attack.
Nike Inc. (NKE) reported Q4 earnings yesterday afternoon with record sales but mixed earnings, outlook and initially fell 4% but has since bounced back and is now up over 1% in pre-market.
General Mills, Inc. (GIS) announced Q4 earnings that beat expectations and is up nearly 1%. Monsanto Company (MON) reported Q3 earnings with a shortfall in sales, missing expectations and is slightly above flat.
This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from Pier 1 Imports Inc. (PIR).
Tomorrow morning, McCormick & Company, Inc. (MKC), Darden Restaurants, Inc. (DRI), Constellation Brands, Inc. (STZ), ConAgra Foods, Inc. (CAG) and Paychex, Inc (PAYX) are expected to report.
Swish... AAPL took a jump shot yesterday, jumping off of 92 and then up 1.68% on above average volume. AAPL opened up nearly a point higher yesterday at 92.91 on high volume before taking a brief dip to the mid-92 area, bouncing towards 93 and then dropping over the morning to an intra-day low of 92.14 at 11:30am on moderate volume before reversing and fighting back up to reclaim 93 by mid-afternoon, then hitting the mid-93 backboard and setting an intra-day high of 93.66. AAPL ended the day up 1.55 at 93.59 and dropped 9 cents in after-hours to 93.50.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up strong in conjunction with Futures and quickly gave a tight embrace to the 94 line, since remaining in a narrow range of about +/- 15 cents. AAPL is currently up 53 cents at 94.12 as we approach the open.
Classic max-pain is 94.5.
