(TTWO) is up 9% after announcing a Q3 beat and MannKind Corporation (MNKD) is down 6% after reporting yesterday.
Mostly rough sailing this morning as Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation (RL) announced that earnings fell 39% in Q3 and is down over 8% in pre-market. Credit Suisse Group AG (CS) is down over 12% after reporting a loss. ConocoPhillips (COP) is also down over 5% after posting a Q4 loss and a dividend cut. AAPL had a strong day, bouncing back strong in late afternoon trading to end the day up 1.98%. AAPL opened a penny shy of 95 to moderate volume, peaked in the mid-95 area at 9:52am on moderate volume and quickly tumbled down to the mid-94 area on average volume, hitting a low of 94.08 at 10:38am on more average volume. After wallowing around the upper-94 area for the rest of the morning and early afternoon, AAPL became inspired to move at 2pm and popped up over 2 points to hit an intra-day peak of 96.84 on moderately high volume. AAPL settled back a little in the last 45 minutes to close the day up 1.87 at 96.35. AAPL lost 31 cents in after-hours to end at 96.04.
This morning in pre-market, despite subtracting the 52 cent dividend AAPL picked up near the after-hours close and made a brief attempt at 96.5 on low volume. As Futures worsened, AAPL dropped lower and appears threatening to give up yesterday's gains. AAPL dropped even further in late pre-market and hit a low of 95.05 at 8:53am on high volume. AAPL is currently down 1.02 cents at 95.33 as we approach the open.
