Apple Today - 12/01/2015 (AAPL)

Welcome to December... NASDAQ Futures are up 18 with +23 Fair Value, Dow Futures are up 74.
Asian markets fared quite well today. Hong Kong closed up 1.75%, Japan gained 1.34% and China lagged behind with a 0.32% gain. European markets are currently mixed. The UK is in the green by 0.63% while Germany and France are down 0.10% and 0.16%, respectively. Commodities are mixed this morning with natural gas down by nearly 0.5% and oil down by approximately 0.15%. Gold is the winning commodity this morning in pre-market, up over a third of 1%. Puerto Rico faces debt payment and a reprieve of earnings gives us a mini-earnings season tomorrow morning. Look for retail bookseller Barnes & Noble (BKS), apparel retailers Express (EXPR), Lands' End (LE), department store Sears Holdings Corporation (SHLD), discount retailer Dollar General Corporation (DG), Kroger (KR), arts & crafts retailer The Michaels Companies (MIK) and medical technology company Medtronic (MDT), all scheduled to report earnings tomorrow.
AAPL had a relatively strong Monday, closing up 0.42%. Beginning with an optimistic pre-market, AAPL opened up higher and grew up to 119 within the first 15 minutes of trading on moderately high volume. Not content with just 119, AAPL continued onwards to touch as high as 119.41 by 10:30am on moderate volume before backing down. After conceding 119 at 11:18am AAPL sold off to the low-118 at 11:50am area on relatively low volume before quickly bouncing back up over 118.5 less than 30 minutes later on low volume, then continuing on to peak in the low-119 area before dipping back to mid-118 and ending the intra-day session up 49 cents at 118.3. AAPL gained an additional 23 cents in after-hours to end up at 118.53.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up higher at 118.94 on low volume in conjunction with Futures. AAPL drifted in the upper-118 area with a bounce at 118.5 around 5:30am on low volume. Later on, AAPL attempted to reach 119 by pushing up into the upper-118 area again but dipped back to 118.6 at 8:54am before bouncing. AAPL is currently up 49 cents to 118.79.
Classic max-pain is 118.
