Apple Today - 11/17/2015 (AAPL)

NASDAQ Futures are up 14 with +10 Fair Value, Dow Futures are up 60 on an upbeat reports from Walmart, Home Depot and TJX.
Asian markets closed mostly green today. China was the exception closing down just 0.06% from even. Hong Kong and Japan has strong closes up 1.15% and 1.22%, respectively. European markets are all currently up sharply. Both UK and Germany are up nearly 1.75%, while France is up around 2.2%. Commodities are currently down in pre-market. Oil is down just over 1%, natural gas is down over 3.5% and gold is down 0.2%. After reporting earnings, Home Depot (HD) is up over 3%, TJX Companies (TJX) is up over 5.5% and Wal-Mart Stores (WMT) is up nearly 2.5%. This afternoon after the bell earnings from Jack In The Box (JACK) and La-Z-Boy (LZB) are expected, and in what seems like a mirror image of this morning's earnings, tomorrow Lowe's (LOW), Staples (SPLS) and Target (TGT) are scheduled to report tomorrow before the open.
AAPL had a much needed "recovery" day yesterday, ending up 1.63% after a brutal week and painful weekend. AAPL started out quite "rocky" in pre-market, breaking down under 111 and threatening 110. However, AAPL went up into the open and continued strong on high volume, turning green within 10 minutes. After reaching the mid-113 area around 10:30am on moderate volume, AAPL took a break and dipped back towards mid-112 just before lunchtime before continuing to climb steadily for the rest of the day on moderate volume, seeming to hit some resistance in the over 114-area. AAPL closed the intra-day session up 1.84 at 114.18. After-hours was quiet with AAPL losing 13 cents to 114.05.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up near yesterday's after-hours close and quickly gravitated to the mid-114 area.on low volume. By mid-morning, AAPL slowly and orderly rose into the upper-114 area with an eye on 115 and by 7:30am, AAPL peaked at 115 on relatively high volume before returning back to the upper-114 area again. AAPL is currently up 55 cents to 114.73.
