Apple Today - 10/19/2015 (AAPL)

NASDAQ Futures are down 16 with -9 Fair Value, Dow Futures are down 59 on China data and "concerns" of decelerating growth and factory output. China's economy grew 6.9% as compared to a year ago, beating forecasts for 6.8% growth but confirming the slowest growth pace since the global financial crisis. Asian markets closed mixed. Hong Kong gained 0.04%, while the Japan dropped 0.88% and China ended slightly down at 0.14%. Gold is currently down and oil is down sharply, on the other hand natural gas is up sharply. Weight Watchers (WTW) is up after Oprah Winfrey announced she is buying a 10% stake in the company, joining the board and planning to take part in the diet program. Morgan Stanley (MS) is down nearly 6% after reporting this morning. Hasbro (HAS) also reported this morning and is down around 1%. Among others, IBM (IBM) and Sonic (SONC) are due this afternoon.
AAPL saw a relatively volatile week last week. Starting the week out at 112 and dropping below 110 on Wednesday on the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) patent lawsuit loss. Like bookends for Wednesday, both Tuesday and Thursday saw "whippy" swings and AAPL ultimately closed out the week at 111.04.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL appeared to be holding the 111 but as Futures soured AAPL eventually gave in. By 7:12am, AAPL was 110.9 on low volume before breaking back up to 111.25 at 7:34am on low volume. As Futures continue to deteriorate, AAPL lost 111 by 8:30am and dropped rapidly into the mid-110s. AAPL AAPL is currently down 36 cents at 110.68.
