Apple Today - 10/06/2015 (AAPL)

Good Morning,
NASDAQ Futures are down 11 with -18 Fair Value, Dow Futures are down 14. This is an improvement over earlier when Futures were further down. European markets are currently up ~1% while China markets are closed for holiday. Oil is down slightly and gold looks to open even. Earnings season officially kicks off this week. The Container Store (TCS) sold off on moderate volume yesterday afternoon after announcing earnings, on the other hand PepsiCo (PEP) is up nearly 3% this morning after beating earnings estimates.
AAPL looked good yesterday in pre-market but took a turn when Citi released a report about 6s gross margins. While the rest of the market rallied, AAPL spent the morning struggling in thr red, hitting a low of 109.07 on moderate volume in early trading. By afternoon, the fog had lifted and AAPL hit a peak of 111.37 at 2:45pm on moderate volume before retreating back towards 110, closing the intra-day session at 110.78. After-hours was a drag and AAPL lost an additional 42 cents to 110.36.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened lower on relatively heavy pre-market volume and barely hung on to 110, in the 110.2 range for most of the morning before a quick dive bomb to 109.81 at 7:36am on high volume. Subsequently, AAPL had recovered fairly well clawing back to the mid-110 area and peaking at 110.63 just before 9am on relatively low volume. AAPL is currently down 25 cents at 110.53.
Classic max-pain is 111.
