seymour_greenz October 5th 2015 09:29:20 AMGood Morning,
NASDAQ Futures are up 28 with +34 Fair Value, Dow Futures are up 108. Futures have improved considerably from last night. China is also in the green while Europe markets are currently rallying 2% to 3%. Oil is up nearly 1%, on the other hand gold is in the red. Google officially becomes Alphabet today. Twitter names Dorsey CEO. The Container Store (TCS) reports after the bell.
AAPL had a down week last week losing about 4%. With a high point over 114 on Monday morning at the open, AAPL failed to hold 113 by the end of day. The real trouble went down on Tuesday when AAPL dropped over the entire day from mid 113 to below 108. The rest of the week AAPL struggled in the 107 to 110 range and ended the week on a "relative" high note by reclaiming the 111 by the end of day on Friday. AAPL closed the intra-day session and week out at 110.38 and there was little change in after-hours.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up higher at 110.98 on low volume and hovered around the upper 110 area in early morning pre-market trading. After crossing 111, AAPL reached a peak of 111.1 at 6:20am on moderate volume before turning sour on "high volume" after 7:30am on Citi Suva "gross margin model s" comments. AAPL briefly dropped below 110 to 109.87 at 7:50am on extremely high volume before a bounce to 110.24 on more high volume. After the bounce at 8:42am, AAPL hit a pre-market low of 109.5 where it is currently attempting to recover 110. Contrary to the Futures, AAPL is currently down 53 cents at 109.85.
Classic max-pain is 111.
