Apple Today 10/02/2015 OPEX (AAPL)
seymour_greenz October 2nd 2015 09:29:05 AMGood Morning,
NASDAQ Futures are up 24 with +31 Fair Value, Dow Futures are up 72 on this 2nd day of the new month of October as fall weather visits us. Asia closed up with healthy gains and Europe is currently up between 1% to 2%. Gold is up 1.8% while oil is down 1%. Micron (MU) reported after the bell yesterday and was up as much as 7% in earlier pre-market. 15 million T-Mobile customer's data, including names, addresses and social security numbers, were compromised in a breach of UK-based credit tracking firm Experian.
AAPL had trouble yesterday, opening at 109.13 and selling off hard, presumably on "chip supplier order concerns buzz". By 11am AAPL was crushed under 108 on high volume and hit a low of 107.31. Afternoon trading brought some needed recovery with AAPL reaching a peak of 109.62 and closing the intra-day session near the high point. After-hours was relatively uneventful with AAPL trading in a tight range and closing within pennies at 109.65.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened higher along with Futures, appearing to recover and reached a momentary peak of 110.45 at 6:39am on low volume before stabilizing around 110.25 on moderate volume for a short time. Suddenly at 8:30am AAPL dropped from green gains to severe losses on no apparent news and mini-crashed as low as 107.82 on extremely high "fomented" volume. Unfortunately, AAPL is currently down 1.53 at 108.05.
Classic max-pain is 110.
